SAFETY
Safety has always been personal to me. As a mother, a neighbor, and a proud Novi resident, I know firsthand that feeling secure in your home and community is everything. It’s one of the top reasons families choose to build their lives here—and why I’ve made it my priority to ensure Novi remains a safe, welcoming place for everyone.
That’s why I strongly support the $120 million Public Safety Bond Proposal on the August 2025 ballot. During my term on the council, I’ve backed key investments to keep our fire and police departments fully equipped and responsive.
I’m deeply grateful to our firefighters, paramedics, and police officers who put their lives on the line every day, and I will always advocate for the resources and respect they deserve.
If retained, I will continue making public safety and high-quality core city services my top priorities.
SUPPORT FOR SENIORS
Supporting Novi’s seniors is close to my heart. I’m committed to strengthening a city where older adults feel seen, valued, and deeply connected to the community. Whether it’s through social spaces, accessible housing options, or programs that promote wellness and connection, I believe our aging population deserves a city that is responsive to their needs.
I’ve been focused on fostering a Novi that’s supportive of older adults by investing in senior services and advocating for inclusive spaces.
As we plan for Novi’s future, I will ensure we prepare for our growing senior population with the same care we give to retaining younger generations. I will work to build a city where older adults feel at home, empowered, and truly at home in our community.
If retained, I will continue listening to our seniors and prioritizing their voices.
SMART GROWTH AND FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY
Planning for Novi’s future means recognizing both the opportunities ahead and the challenges for which we must prepare.
As a member of Novi’s Long-Range Strategic Planning Committee, I’ve been actively engaged in shaping the framework for how we will plan for the city’s long-term success. As we work together to focus on creating the Long-Range Strategic Plan, I look forward to continuing this important work with the committee to deliver a plan that will help guide Novi’s future. From technology infrastructure to transportation, housing, and public services, becoming a truly smart city means planning with intention—anticipating needs, closing gaps before they grow, and making investments that stand the test of time.
But vision means little without responsibility. I’m committed to making thoughtful, data-driven decisions that protect Novi’s financial health while building a resilient, sustainable future for all who call it home.
If retained, I will continue this forward-thinking work—championing a long-term vision for Novi that is inclusive, fiscally responsible, and rooted in smart, sustainable growth.
SUSTAINIBILITY
For me, environmental sustainability isn’t just a policy—it’s a personal responsibility. I see it in the tree-lined trails we walk with our families, the open spaces where kids play, and the quiet wetlands that make Novi feel like home.
I want to spend my time protecting the green spaces that define our community—our wetlands, woodlands, and open lands. As we continue to grow, I believe it’s essential to consciously educate, raise awareness, and come together as a community to preserve what makes Novi so special.
As a member of the newly formed Environmental Sustainability Committee, I’m grateful that we now have a platform to turn these ideas into meaningful action. I’m committed to continuing this work by helping evaluate and develop an Environmental Action Plan that supports our Long Range Novi 2025 vision - preserving green spaces while preparing for a healthier, more resilient future.
By working collaboratively and making thoughtful choices, we can ensure that our natural spaces remain a lasting source of beauty, health, and connection for all.
If retained, I will continue embedding sustainability into every city decision we make, from energy-efficient city planning to the preservation of parks and natural spaces for future generations.
